In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the popularity of both free-to-play (FPP) and pay-to-play (TPP) mobile role-playing games. Game designers across the globe know that survival games like PUBG Mobile and Rules of Survival have the highest rates of commercial success. In that context, the publisher Touch Foo again released a game with a classic PS1 perspective, Swordigo.
CARRY OUT A NOBLE MISSION
If you play Swordigo, you will find yourself in the position of a teenage boy responsible for the survival of humanity. You and the boy will travel to many different exotic locations to be able to complete the assigned task. This is the first time the young man has been able to venture out of his village, and he is taking this opportunity to embark on a mission to save humanity from the hands of those who will harm it. Together, players and their characters will explore vast urban areas and icy underworlds in pursuit of mission objectives.
DRAMATIC GAMEPLAY
It has been mentioned that Swordigo’s gameplay is presented as a 2.5-dimensional horizontal perspective instead of first-person or third-person. To move, jump, and perform other actions, the player must use the basic virtual buttons on the screen. Once you’ve reached the next level, however, you’ll be able to use keystrokes to unleash the combos you’ve unlocked as you play through the story. Like other story-fighting games, you’ll get some in-game tutorial time to learn the game’s combat system basics and familiarize yourself with the weapons and items.
If the player completes some easy quests early, they’ll be rewarded with an iron sword and kame-shooting spells, just like Songoku had in Dragon Ball 7. If you keep going on the assigned quests and kill any monsters you come across; you will level up and earn gold and experience. Once players gain enough experience, they will be promoted to the next level, where their health, damage, and movement speed are increased.
UPGRADE CHARACTER POWER
As players progress through Swordigo’s open storyline, they’ll be offered a series of quests, each increasing in difficulty as they go. It only takes a little brain to complete them, but you will need to increase your strength gradually. Your breakthrough improvement at this time is significant to save humanity. To quickly get more power, you need to increase your level. Conversely, the time it takes to complete this increases exponentially as the difficulty level increases.
However, it would be best if you had more than the stats accumulated after all that work to help you take down the demanding boss. The most effective means of accomplishing this goal is purchasing new weapons and unlocking new spells. Caves and dungeons can be explored during quests to obtain sacred swords with sky-high stats. In addition, you can strengthen your defenses with new armor or enhance spells to deal more damage to enemies.
GRAPHICS
It is not surprising that Swordigo, a sideways game in the style of PS1, does not possess a realistic and vivid graphics platform like today’s top games. Even so, the game is designed with relatively easy-to-see images. Pleasant colors and just the right amount of brightness for each scene. Players are free to explore a variety of beautifully realized environments.
