After the great success of Shadow of Death, publisher Bravestars Games continues to launch Shadow of Death 2 with a completely new fighting style. The plot continues from the first part, but it is presented much more attractive this time, especially the dramatic and killing scenes.
THE STORY CONTINUES AFTER THE PROLOGUE
The plot has been invested thoroughly and meticulously, so it is arguably the most exciting aspect of this series. The game’s expansive and complex plot inspires and motivates the player to learn more about the protagonist and his country. Shadow of Death 2 continues the story that the first game left unfinished. The Kingdom of Aurora is being ruined due to what happened in the previous chapter. Darkness reigns supreme, bringing a host of ferocious monsters and manufactured devastation.
You take on the role of Maximus, a knight in the service of the Aurora Kingdom, and he wakes up with an empty memory. Because his memories have been completely erased, Max has no idea who he is or why he’s here. A young woman is taking care of him, but monsters also kidnap her. Max must start his journey with his sword and fight monsters because he can’t return home without the girl he loves. To defeat the forces of darkness and save the kingdom of Aurora, you and Max must work together.
HACK-AND-SLASH GAMEPLAY
Shadow of Death 2 combines role-playing and adventure elements into an optimized mobile experience suited to landscape screens. With the sword in hand and the fighting skills of a master warrior, you will begin the battle against the hordes of darkness monsters. When all enemies in a stage have been destroyed, the level’s final boss will appear. It would be best if you were quick to avoid enemy attacks with your sword, as they can kill you with a single hit. The game’s console is similar to the consoles of other mobile RPGs. The main character, skill keys, jump, attack, and dash are on the left side of the screen, while the virtual joystick is on the right. You can create beautiful combos that deal much damage by pressing multiple keys simultaneously.
TWO MAIN GAME MODES
This game, like its predecessor, has two main gameplay: Adventure and Challenge. Each chapter of Adventure mode has its series of stages with increasingly difficult obstacles. When a stage is completed, your character will level up, gaining max health, strength, and mana. You can also get equipment like shields, armor, and weapons. In Adventure mode, you can explore two different maps, The Great Swamp and The Black Sea.
EQUIPMENT SYSTEM
Due to the game’s extensive weapon and equipment system, players in Shadow of Death 2 have access to various weapons and armor. Players must win new weapons and armor in battle or pay to buy them from the shop. The most formidable warriors can equip Max with legendary swords and armor. Weapons can be classified as Standard, Rare, Epic, or Legendary. The legendary blades are admired not only for their destructive power but also for their stunning visual effects. The black background highlights the vivid red of the blade, which represents the enemy’s blood.
