Stepping Over Oneself takes players through the story through a modern messaging interface. Everything is told in text and images. Therefore, you will manipulate directly on the screen. This is a complicated love story between two people that is about to end thanks to a grand wedding. Matthew and Ashley are about to get married, but there are still many problems ahead.

The core gameplay focuses entirely on the answer selection mechanism. The character’s emotions will be directed through the way you react to the problem. That’s why everything is slowly resolved. However, if you are not skillful, it can easily lead to misunderstandings.
