THIS GAME SHOULD ONLY BE PLAYED WITH FRIENDS. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF THERE ARE NO OTHER PLAYERS! Dark Stories’ gameplay is simple and enjoyable, but if you want to complete the game, you must be prepared to solve some difficult puzzles. All puzzles are made up, and players must use inductive and deductive reasoning skills to solve the mysteries.
Dark Stories can be played cooperatively or competitively with a group of friends. A single person will be chosen to play the role of narrator, and they will be responsible for selecting a test and reading the text aloud to the other group members. Following that, the narrator will read the response in private, without revealing the secret that they are about to discover to anyone else. The remaining players will question the narrator to figure out how to solve the puzzle. “Yes,” “No,” or “Not relevant” are the only three answers that the narrator can provide in response to the question. The solution to the puzzle, which is given at the end of each one, is the only way to solve the puzzle successfully. If the answer does not meet the player’s clarity expectations, the player is forced to rely on the narrator’s description of how the puzzle should be solved.
When the narrator determines that the mystery can be solved, they can end the game and read the answer to the question. If the story comes to a halt, the narrator can make some suggestions to break the stalemate. This is a game that can be played whenever you want, as long as you have a few other friends who want to play it with you at the same time. It is ideal for birthday parties, camping trips, and other similar events. This app is free and contains over sixty stories, each of which is kept up to date regularly. Accidents, suicides, thefts, and so on… Do you believe you can solve all of the mysteries?
